Julie won a layout created by me (using her photos) for her entry in the Michelle T-W jack challenge.

{ETA: Julie has received the layout and likes it, so now I can share the whole thing instead of a sneak peek.}

I only hope the looonnnggg wait Julie has had to endure is worth it. I anxiously await her email to say she has got it, and hope she likes it even a little bit. At least she can remove the photos and start again, I only hope she doesn't mind that I only printed the photos smaller than 6x4.

I have left room for Julie to add her own journalling too.

New Year, New Jack

I haven't scrapped anything since my favourite layout earlier in the week (see last blog entry), but hope to at least make a start on the pile of photos from TJ's first year, over the weekend. I have chosen 56 sets of photos, but may be able to amalgamate some of them into one layout (eg a "snoozing with Dad" layout, which could incorporate a variety of photos taken over the first 12months etc). Hopefully that will reduce the number of layouts in his first year album. Phew
Will start on some sketches first so if you don't see me blogging for awhile you know its cos I am creating! LOL

Favourite layout

This is my current favourite layout, firstly because the photos are very special to me, they are of two very special people (my Mum & Dad) and secondly because I love the co-ordinating papers, scalloped heart and the bling on the flowers!

This was based on a sketch by Donna M over at SBO. (if you click on the link for Donna you will see her layout on her blog - Feb 02, 2008)

I couldn't find the same cut out heart that Donna used (which I will keep an eye out for) but still love the large heart I used.
